The AfroNouveau 100
Christine Souffrant Ntim speaks with the kind of clarity that only comes from lived experience. She’s not just building in tech, she’s building bridges between cultures, communities, and continents. Above all, she’s building bridges between the overlooked and the over connected.
Long before the world knew her name, she was learning about business from her first mentor — her grandmother — who sold goods in the vibrant, noisy markets of Port-au-Prince. Those early moments, standing beside her grandmother under the Haitian sun, were her introduction to economics, negotiation, and grit. She didn’t know it then, but those days were laying the foundation for a global vision.
Today, Christine is one of the most respected Haitian-American voices in global entrepreneurship. She’s also one of the most relatable.
Rooted in Hustle, Raised for Impact

Christine often credits her early exposure to street vending for teaching her what business school never could — how to survive, adapt, and sell with soul. “I come from hustle,” she says. “That’s my superpower.”
That mindset never left her. After earning degrees from Dartmouth and Hult, she didn’t follow the corporate path. Instead, she launched Vendedy — a tech startup designed to digitize the world’s street markets. Her goal was simple but powerful: connect street vendors with global consumers, giving small sellers access to the digital economy.
It wasn’t just innovation. It was recognition. Christine saw the dignity in hustle, and she made it visible on a world stage.
From Side Streets to Global Platforms
Christine’s journey hasn’t been linear, ut’s been layered. After Vendedy gained global attention from Forbes, CNN, and the UN, she expanded her mission by launching Global Startup Ecosystem (GSE). What started as a bold idea became one of the fastest-growing platforms training entrepreneurs across Africa, the Caribbean, and beyond.
She’s led startup bootcamps in Accra, spoken at the United Nations, and mentored thousands of founders across emerging markets. And still, she never loses touch with her roots.
Christine isn’t just a polished keynote speaker. She’s someone who can light up a room while keeping it real. Her story — of growing up between two cultures, navigating the grind, and betting on her people — resonates across borders.
She doesn’t show up to impress. She shows up to empower.
My goal is simple: to inspire and empower you with real, behind-the-scenes updates and honest insights that help you elevate your goals and actually get there”.
The AfroNouveau Spirit, Fully Realized

Christine Souffrant Ntim embodies the AfroNouveau spirit. She’s bold, brilliant, and deeply committed to creating space for the next generation of Afro-descended innovators. She doesn’t just believe in equity, she builds it.
What makes her especially powerful is her dual lens. She sees the future through the eyes of a Haitian daughter and a global strategist. She’s unafraid to speak truth in rooms that were never built for her and she makes sure others can enter, too.
Whether she’s launching a tech summit, investing in Black founders, or mentoring a young woman with a dream, Christine brings the same energy: pride, precision, and purpose.
A Legacy in the Making
Christine’s not slowing down. She’s a mom. A founder. A speaker. A mentor. And in every space she enters, she brings the fire of her roots and the focus of a CEO.
Her journey reminds us that innovation doesn’t always look like Silicon Valley. Sometimes, it looks like a Haitian market — buzzing with life, full of possibility, and ready to change the world.
